FUNCTIONS LIKE A SINGLE CABLE
ServicePLEX® is an assembly of quality Service Wire conductors twisted together to create a consistent, uniform construction—effectively functioning as a prefab wire pull.
COST- AND LABOR-SAVINGS
This unique cost- and labor-saving solution has the engineered advantages contractors need for easier, faster pulls on the jobsite. Available as XHHW-2 for commercial and industrial applications and USE-2 for direct burial.
600V/1kV Copper

600V and 1kV Copper
Twisted conductors have a unified diameter, which reduces the required pulling tension and eliminates jamming caused by parallel pulls.
Conductors are insulated with XLPE thermoset insulation that does not require pulling lubricant and is more resistant to environmental breakdown and abrasions.
Reduces scrap (no long/short legs), as the conductors come out evenly at the back end of a pull; offers multiple runs on a single reel; and reduces reel storage, setup, and waste costs.
ServicePLEX can easily be installed in conduit. The cable's unified diameter and lower required pulling tension makes for an easier pull as less surface area comes in direct contact with the inner wall of the conduit.
ServicePLEX is a great alternative to single conductors in cable tray. The cable requires fewer cable ties to secure the conductors.
ServicePLEX is direct burial rated. It can be installed underground or in concrete, a great option for roadway lighting installation.
Contractors who use ServicePLEX® report labor savings up to 50-70% over conventional pulls. Still have questions? Download our ServicePLEX® brochure.

Even the smallest nick in a cable’s insulation can lead to outer sheath damage & a short circuit fault. Cables that won’t meg properly will need to be replaced. Learn how you can prevent cable faults during installation.
Thermoset XLPE insulation is superior to the thinner PVC insulation used in thermoplastic products (like THHN/THWN-2). Learn more about the differences between THHN and XHHW-2.
